Scarlett Corbeux: last meeting for Scarlett, she returns to home near Caens, France, July 3rd. She gave a brief video presentation and said tearful goodby.
Proposed New Members: Jasbeer Singh, proposed by Al Sanderson; director of Magma International which publishes a monthly magazine; classification Publishing - Magazine; Jean Lauzon, proposed by Ross Hallett; owner of Jemstone Financial Inc. and is president of Parent Supporting Committee of 180 Royal Canadian Artillery Cadet Corps, classification undetermined.
Paul Harris Fellowship Award Winners: for youth work with 395 Air Cadets - Squadron Commander Major Don Ste. Croix; work for our club in raising money - John Blimke; Kathleen Gowers (from Chris); past presidents Jennifer Lawley & Don McDermid; long term treasurer Richard Wallace; heading up small club projects - Erika Rudolph, Bob Lamoureux, Bill Buckham, Wayne Ellis, Brian Thompson, Chris Gowers; then Al Sanderson @ the end of the program.

Annual Report - Al Sanderson: report on exciting year - PolioPlus, 6 new members & 3 in process, Family of Rotary including friendship dinners, support of youth including Scarlett, John MacDonald, RYLA, RYPHEN, Centennial Interact Club, Air Cadets, CleanScene; partnership with Al Hamilton to build sports facilities in Edmonton inner city; thanks to outgoing board of directors Al Sanderson, Ben Doz, Don McDermid, Ron Hutchinson, Richard Wallace, Jennifer Lawley, Laurie Wilkie, Bill Buckham, Mike Ryan, Chris Gowers, Dan Graham, Sandon Cox, Jerome Martin; thanks to wife Karen for major support.
Exchange Student Update: Scarlett back to France; Jon McDonell returning to Thailand on his own for 6 week visit; Rachel Jacques returns from Mexico this week; Chris thanked Lorne for many years of youth work both our club and district.
Transfer of Office: Ben gave Al his past president's pin - advised more youth projects to come and support of Rotarians/Friends/Families; board includes Ben Doz, Al Sanderson, Chris Gowers, Laurie Wilkie, Richard Wallace, Rob Dunseith, Bob Lamoureux, Jerome Martin, Mike Ryan, Duane Evans, Bill Buckham, Sandon Cox; flowers given to Karen Sanderson and Kathleen Gowers. Thank you given by Chris to Ben Lang, our inauguration president (Feb 23/55).
