On November 3, 2007, from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm at UN Headquarters in New York City, the theme will be Rotary and the United Nations: Sharing. The day will include panel discussions and presentations addressing key humanitarian issues such as water, health, literacy and hunger. There will also be a separate youth program and opportunity for tours of the UN Building.
Registration for Saturday is US$35, including a box lunch. Download registration form from the events section at www.rotary.org
Canadians are also invited to meet the Canadian US Ambassador during a visit to the Canadian Mission on Friday afternoon, November 2nd. If you want to participate in this visit, you must register with PDG Doug Vincent (rotary@teamvincent.com) prior to October 20th for security check reasons.
