Allan Plesniarski was born first generation Canadian to Alfred and Gloria Plesniarski in Winnipeg, Manitob in 1962.  His father and grandfather had emigrated to Canada after serving in the British Army during the Second World War.  During early school years, Allan served the local church and youth community clubs.  He attended St. Paul's High School in Winnipeg, an all boys high school run by Jesuits.  Allan was exposed to many examples of Jesuit vocation around the world.

As part of an early career, Allan arrived in Edmonton in 1990 to manage a restaurant in downtown Edmonton.  He then attended NAIT to embark on an IT career.  Allan joined Saville Systems, owned by Bruce Saville, in 1993.  Allan went on to work for IBM for the past 10 years.  During that time he became an evening instructor at NAIT.

Allan instructed NAIT student resources to do project work locally and around the world.  A local example is Clean Scene, for which the students designed and built a new website and related applications.  Allan seeks opportunities for expanded community service.

Allan Plesniarski is proposed for membership in the Club by Chris Gowers.
