Al Hamilton and Friends Golf Classic - July 28, 2011

We are ready to roll with our third annual Al Hamilton and Friends Golf Classic at Cougar Creek Golf Resort on Thursday, July 28th.  We actually have a waiting list of golfers who would like to play in the tournament, and we also have a full slate of volunteers to make the day enjoyable for those who were lucky enough to register on time.

 

 

The early morning volunteers, those who need to be on site not later than 7:15 am include the following:

  • Chris Gowers will be greeting golfers at the entrance to the parking lot

  • Keatha Buckham and Larry Smits will be selling Mulligan tickets

  • Fred Kraft and Cynthia Boodram will be helping Wayne Ellis at the Registration desk

  • Kasey Armstrong and Bob Lamoureux will be handing out Golf Shirts to the golfers

  • Dan and Carol Graham will be distributing goodie bags and cart signs

  • Jennifer Lawley and Lorne Proctor will be managing the prize and auction items displays

 

During the tournament, from the 8:30 Shotgun Start to approximately 1:30 pm, the following volunteers will be active:

  •  Bert Andrews will be monitoring a Hole-in-One prize hole

  • Frank Boodram, Keatha Buckham, Carol Graham and Bill Macdonald will be running the Putting Contest

  • Kasey Armstrong and Mike Ryan will be dispensing sushi & saki

  • Chris Gowers and Duane Evans will be dispensing caesars

  • Dave Turner, Dan Graham, Al Sanderson & Fred Kraft will be shuttling & relieving personnel, carrying ice, etc.

  • Larry Smits will be running the pitching contest

  • Lorne Proctor, Jennifer Lawley and Cynthia Boodram will be attending to Team seating & clubhouse displays

 

At the conclusion of the golfing, the following volunteers will be active:

  •  Bill Macdonald and Jennifer Lawley will be collecting scorecards & compiling the scores

  • Ed Schultz and Dave Turner will be determining the prize winners

 

During and after the Steak BBQ, the following volunteers will be active:

  •  Mike Ryan and Ed Shultz will be assisting the auctioneer and delivering prizes and auction items to winners and purchasers

  • Al Sanderson and Brian Thompson will be assisting Wayne Ellis with payments and receipts

  • Brian Thompson, Lorne Proctor and Ed Schultz will clean up after the Dinner and Auction
