Root for Trees ~ Guided Planting Event

There is still time to sign up for our Root for Trees planting event.

Our club has booked a tree planting event for June. We would like to invite all clubs, Rotarians and friends to join us in a group service event.

Facilitated by two program staff, registered group plantings are hands-on educational opportunities that are fun and inclusive. This group volunteer opportunity is perfect for team building, families, students, clubs and community groups.

Root for Trees provides:

• Program staff who guide a planting demonstration, safety talk, and share interesting facts about Edmonton's urban forest
• Native trees and shrubs
• Shovels and gloves

If you would like to join in sign up, and bring a family member or a friend. I have attached a map of where we will be planting.

Cheers,

Annie
