Purolator Tackle Hunger

Our club has been a long time supporter of this important fundraiser for the Edmonton Food Bank. Volunteers will be positioned outside the Commonwealth Stadium and collect monetary and food donations. We have always found this to be a fun event and appreciate the generocity of the fans. 

Purolator Tackle Hunger Date:   Sunday, July 6th - Elks vs Ottawa Redblacks

Volunteer Arrival: for 2:45 PM TBC
Game Starts: at 5 PM, 
with Gates opening into the stadium at 4 PM
Gate volunteer location: Gate 13 and Gate TBD
Volunteering Ends: approx 7 PM or when all attendees are into the game

They are looking for approximately 20 volunteers. The volunteers would be split between two gates. The bulk of the volunteers will be at Gate 13. (they welcome children to be part of the volunteer team). Who can resist a childs smile:))

Once the volunteer activity is complete, they usually provide all volunteers with a pass into the game to watch football. They will update you as soon as they get confirmation from the Elks regarding passes into the game for Purolator Tackle Hunger Volunteers. 

Volunteers would need to find their own method of travel down to the game. Edmonton's Food Bank is not provided with any parking spots for volunteers on game day. We recommend using the LRT or car-pooling.
