Purolator Tackle Hunger

The Elks have changed the time of the game to accomodate the Oiler Game. Volunteers are now needed at 11:45 until 2:45. (Unless you want to go to the game). The Food Bank is very short of volunteers so please let me know if you are interested in volunteering.

I received a call today from Doug at the Food Bank to say that Purolator has designated Saturday June 8th for their Tackle Hunger food drive and fundraiser in Edmonton. This will be the Elks home opener against the Saskatchewan Roughriders which is always a popular game. This will be the 75th season for the Elks and they will have lots of activities going on around the stadium. Volunteers will be given tickets to the game after the first quater.

Date: Saturday June 8
Time: 3:00 pm
Location: 11000 Stadium Road

There will be more details to follow.

Cheers,

Annie
