The Rotary Club of Edmonton West—sponsored by the Edmonton Downtown club—was officially admitted to membership in Rotary International in 1955 with 21 charter members. Our charter President was Ben Lang, whose leadership and vision helped lay the foundation for the strong and vibrant club we are today.

This year, we are proud to celebrate 70 years of service, fellowship, and community impact. Over the decades, our members have dedicated countless hours to local and international projects, always guided by Rotary’s motto: Service Above Self.

We are planning a very special evening to honour our rich history, recognize our achievements, and look forward to the exciting opportunities that lie ahead. It will be a night filled with memories, laughter, and inspiration—an unforgettable event you won’t want to miss!
