Proposed New Member - Perry Hendriks

Doug Sollows has proposed Perry Hendriks for membership in the Rotary Club of Edmonton West.

Perry is the General Manager of Hendriks Construction Ltd. in Edmonton.  He has been a resident of Beaumont for over 30 years, and has served his community as Town Councillor from October 91 to October 2007.  He has  a lengthy record of other community service including:

• Member of the Beaumont Library Board and Building Committee
• Chairman of the Southwest Regional Water Commission
• Chairman of the Beaumont Subdivision Development & Assessment Appeal Board
• Member of the Inter-Municipal Development Plan Liaison Committee
• Member of the Arena Advisory Committee
• Coach of minor hockey
• Member of the Police Committee
• Member of the Leduc Foundation
• Member of the St. Vital Church Finance Committee
• Member of the Knights of Columbus - Beaumont Council

Perry is a 1979 graduate of NAIT - Building Construction Engineering Technology and is a member of th Alberta Society of Engineering Technologists and is a Certified Engineering Technologist in Construction Engineering Technology.
