Air Cadet League Roast

Friends and Members of the Air Cadet League in Alberta are hosting a Silent Auction & Celebrity Roast. The roastee will be Alberta MP, Laurie Hawn. This black tie dinner will take place on Saturday, September 12, 2009.

The theme for this event is "Keeping the Air in Air Cadets". This is one of many events that are undertaken to meet the financial requirements of our Alberta Provincial League, specifically the Flying & Gliding Program. Since the Cadet movement does not charge a registration fee for its programs, it is vital that fundraising takes place to meet the annual operating costs for such things, but not limited to; Aircraft repair, Engine Overhauls, Support Vehicles and Runway Maintenance.

To all of our prospective sponsors, we would like to offer you the opportunity to support our Air Cadets by making a donation of goods or services to our "Silent Auction & Celebrity Roast" event.  Unless directed otherwise, the names of sponsors will be prominently displayed both before and during the event. If required, and with proper documentation, tax receipts can be issued for the retail value of donations.

We also would like to extend an invitation to join us for the Silent Auction & Celebrity Roast event 6:00 pm on September 12, 2009 at the Executive Royal Inn in Calgary.
