The Business of Journalism

Please join us on Monday, October 19 as Edmonton West hosts Karen Unland as she presents and discusses the "Business of Journalism". Karen is the co-founder of Taproot Publishing, which helps people understand what's going on in their communities. Its flagship is Taproot Edmonton, which publishes newsletters rounding up everything happening on various topics, as well as stories that grow out of the curiosity of its members and the observations of its curators. Karen is also the president of the Alberta Podcast Network, which builds audiences for Alberta-made podcasts and connects their listeners with Alberta-based businesses and organizations.
