The 2020 Guatemala Eye Care Project

For over 22 years, Rotary Club of Edmonton West's own Dr. Ben Doz has been traveling to Guatemala to run annual eye clinics serving remote rural areas.  For many patients, Dr. Doz may be the first, and only, optometrist they ever see in their lifetime.  Dr. Doz recruits eager Rotarians and others to accompany him on his eye clinic missions. 

Dr. Doz has been recognized locally and internationally for his dedicated service.  Here is one recent article by Rotary District 5370.
