Cambodia School Project
In collaboration with the Rotary Club of Pursat, Cambodia, the Rotary Club of Edmonton West is supporting the development of the Kos Broteal Primary School which is a rural school in Srey Sdok commune within the Kandieng district. To date the project has developed a water well and provided slow sand filters for the school children’s drinking water. School supplies and learning and teaching materials have also been provided to the students and teachers. The project has engaged local authorities, parents of students, school teachers and the Rotarians in the Rotaru Club of Pursat. Planned activities for the coming months include improvements to the water
supply, additional school supplies and funding for education/community development workers.
