Edmonton West
Hamptons Lake
205 street & 60 Avenue
Edmonton, AB
Canada

The City of Edmonton has given us the following area in which to plant our trees:

Hamptons Lake - 205th Street & 60th Avenue
Hamptons Lake is a stormwater management pond located on the west side of the city. There is a walking trail around the pond and you can expect to see many colourful wildflowers and tall willows. The Root for Trees planting location is within the naturalized area surrounding the lake.

They will supply our group with:

  • A Program Leader who will provide our group with a planting demonstration, safety talk, and interesting facts about Edmonton's urban forest
  • Native tree and shrub seedlings
  • Planting shovels

All of the supplies will be ready on site. Make sure you wear comfortable clothing, wear close-toed sturdy shoes, and remember to bring some water and sunscreen! Lastly, make sure someone has a camera to capture your great day in the trees!

This will be such an epic adventure:))

There is a limit of 100 volunteers, so bring your family and friends:))

Cheers,

Annie
