Home for Dinner at Ronald McDonald House

Preparing a meal can be a stressful task after spending a long and potentially emotional day at the hospital. Thanks to our generous volunteers, the House can reduce this stress for families. Through Home for Dinner, a group of volunteers purchases groceries and provides dinner for families staying at the House. Duties include planning, cooking, cleaning up, and packaging any leftovers.

Fred, Karen and I completed our orientation this week and then we were able to book our event. We will be cooking some delicious chili, baked potatoes, salad and fruit for dessert.
