Edmonton's Food Bank

The month of December is the busiest month for Edmonton's Food Bank.

*Minimum age of 14 years

Activities in the warehouse around Christmas consist of the following:

sorting food donations, repacking food items, building generic boxes, building hampers for clients, helping organize the warehouse using pallet jacks (training is provided), collecting donations from donors, assisting the warehouse unload trucks, swamping with drivers to help bring back donations (volunteers would leave the building with the drivers to bring back donations), distressing of liquids and housekeeping may be involved as Alberta Health regulate their warehouse. 

They may ask a few volunteers to help with other tasks in the second warehouse as well (Warehouse Two is located two doors down from our main location 11434-120street)
