Guest speakers, Ingrid Neitsch & Rotaract Members of Peace Committee (June 22 Meeting)
We were joined on Monday, June 22 by Ingrid Neitsch and several Rotaract Members of the Peace Committee (Myles Dykes, Pauleanne Codilla, Shannon Peacocke, and Yvone Joubert) for an inspiring presentation on "Why Peace Is The Answer."
Peace building is a cornerstone of our mission as Rotarians, and it is one of our six areas of focus. During the “Why Peace is the Answer” presentation, members of the District Peace building Committee shared with us how both Rotary and District 5370 started their journey of peace building, why peace is so important and what we as Rotarians can do as we continue to build positive peace in the world through all we say and do.
If you're looking to get involved, see below for some great opportunities shared by the Peace Committee for involvement at both the individual and club levels.
