Meeting: Chair, Darrel Ripley; music, Jerome M.; grace, Brad A.; attendance 22 including Honorary members Doug McDougal and Al Hamilton.

Announcements:

Future District Governor Chosen: Darrel was excited to read the letter from DG Tim Schilds informing us that the District Governor for 2018-19 will be our very own Ingrid Neitsch!  Ingrid was heartily congratulated by all in attendence.

Grey Cup Pool: Ben Doz reported that after all the dust settled and prizes awarded, the profit coming to the club from the Grey Cup pool will be closer to $2200 rather than what was announced at the last meeting.  Thanks to all the sellers of the tickets and especially to Ben for organizing this great fund raiser.

Membership Committee: Committee chair, Brad Arsenault announced that there will be a short meeting of the membership committee immediately following todays club meeting.

Christmas Party: Annie M. announced that there are still some tickets available for the event that is happening on Thursday, December 17th at the Derrick Club.

Food Bank: Annie was also proud to announce that there are already 14 people signed up to work at the Food Bank on the morning of Saturday, January 9th, 2016.  More volunteers are always welcome as there is always lots of work to do in the warehouse.

Boyle McCauley Rink Presentation: John Blimke introduced Al Hamiton by explaining his involvement in our annual golf tournament and the hands on work that he does in ensuring the event is always successful.  He also explained how much he cared for the Boyle McCauley Rink charity and presented a cheque for $5000 on behalf of the Rotary Club of Edmonton West.
Mr. Hamilton gave the group an update on the happening at the rink, including a handsome donation by the rink construction company to build a completely new and modern rink board system at the cost that was being looked at just to skin the boards with new puck board.  He promised to let the club know of any events and happenings at the rink that we may be able to attend.  He also explained that due to the rink construction, that all the sponsors signs had come down and that they were still figuring a way to re-install them, but that the Rotary Club of Edmonton West would also receive on complete board advertising section as thanks for our ongoing support of the rink and supporting programs.

Bissell Centre: David Gibbens read a thank you letter to the club from the Bissell Centre thanking the club for the generous donation of hygiene kits, toques, socks and gloves.  Thanks to all who donated to the drive.

Fine Master: After all the Good news and happenings, Bill Buckham was happy to be a Grinch and lighten everyone's pockets with a variety of fine topics.

50/50: Bill Buckham and Lorne Proctor did not match playing cards so the pool of $243 will be carried over to the next draw.

The current clause 13 in the bylaw reads as: "This society shall hold an annual meeting on or before December 1 in each year of which notice in writing to the last know address of each member shall be delivered in the mail seven days prior to the date of the meeting."
