Working in a naturalized area\, it is possible that you may encounter thistles\, stick s\, or garbage. You and your volunteers must wear sturdy\, closed-toed sh oes such as runners. Volunteers may not participate in planting activitie s if they wear inappropriate footwear\, such as sandals\, flip-flops\, or high heel shoes. Safety Protocols Please bring and wear a mask. Each v olunteer should fill out a COVID-19 Pre-Screening Checklist. If you are f eeling unwell\, please do not attend. Remember to bring a water bottle an d snacks\, as planting trees can be a very physical activity! We suggest you bring sunscreen\, bug spray\, and anything else that will make your volunteer shift an enjoyable experience.
