  Annual Summer BBQ is just around the corner on Friday\, July 24\, and thi
 s year's theme is Backyard Hootenanny! We're planning a fun-filled country
  & western celebration for our participants and their families\, and we'd 
 love your help to make it a fantastic day. Can you volunteer? Please email
  renec@chrysalis.ca or call 780-454-9656 ext. 415 to let me know you're av
 ailable. If you have a preferred role or can stay for the full event\, be 
 sure to mention that too! Volunteer Opportunities Pre-Event Crew (9:00 AM)
  – Set up tables\, chairs\, decorations\, games\, and more. Kitchen & Gr
 ill Team (11:00 AM–12:30 PM) – BBQ\, food prep\, buffet support\, and 
 serving. Refreshments & Concessions (11:00 AM–2:00 PM) – Run the drink
  station\, popcorn\, and cotton candy. Floaters (11:00 AM–2:00 PM) – H
 elp guests\, tidy tables\, and keep the event running smoothly. Clean-Up C
 rew (1:30–3:00 PM) – Take down\, clean up\, and pack everything away. 
    Important: A current (dated within the last six months) Vulnerable Per
 sons Record Check is required to volunteer. This can be submitted electron
 ically to renec@chrysalis.ca  If you don't have one yet\, contact me and
  I'll provide the letter needed for the volunteer rate. RCMP-serviced comm
 unities provide the check at no cost with the letter\, while Edmonton Poli
 ce Service applications are completed online and have a $20 fee. Even if y
 our check isn't ready in time for this event\, we'd love to have it on fil
 e for future opportunities. Thank you for being such an important part of
